New York's finest detectives are back for a third season of sleuthing, with plenty of new mysteries, new villains and new rivalries.
When this modern day update of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's infamous 'Sherlock Holmes' and 'Dr. Watson' characters first debuted back in September 2012 many people wondered how well it would fare given the popularity of the BBC's acclaimed contemporary Sherlock adaptation with Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman.
Fortunately the onscreen chemistry between Johnny Lee Miller and his female partner-in-crime-solving, Lucy Lui, have helped capture the audience's imagination and so here they are returning for season three.
The standard landscape billboard version was first spied along Pico Boulevard at La Cienega Boulevard on September 30, plus later along La Brea Avenue on October 6, whilst the smaller creatives were spotted along Beverly Boulevard on October 1, 2014.
If you're a fan of the show, be sure to also check out these Elementary season one billboards from around the streets of L.A. and New York City in 2012.
Let's help the further adventures of this clue-hunting duo don't become too formulaic, or dare we say 'elementary', like other crime procedural shows have in the past.
