LA Ink, Ink Master and Tattoo Nightmares are just some of the many reality TV shows that have come and gone that have been inspired by the tattoo industry.
Now it's time for A&E to try a new spin on the format by mixing tattoo artistry with the geek-tastic world of science-fiction in Epic Ink.
At Area 51 in Springfield, Oregon, owner Chris 51 and his team of expert, award-winning ink artists, like Heather Maranda (pictured on the right), Chris Jones, Josh Bodwell, Jeff Worthan and blonde receptionist Caroline Russell (the 'normal' one on the left), help give sci-fi fans the tattoos of their dreams, whether it's from the worlds of Star Wars, Doctor Who, comic books or nerd realms beyond.
This rather cosmic Epic Ink series premiere billboard certainly evokes those classic painted sci-fi movie posters and was spied along Sunset Boulevard on August 21, 2014.
If like Daily Billboard you are a lover of all things weird and wonderful, be sure to check out this eclectic selection of sci-fi movie and TV billboards.
