Ah
Hollywood, it really wouldn't be a typical year without a few remakes, reboots or revivals to let folks know that you're the most creative and inventive industry in the world, erm.
Case in point the big screen remake of
The Equalizer, made famous on the small screen for four seasons by
Edward Woodward, as a retired intelligence officer turned private detective, from 1985 to 1989.
Twenty five years later and
Denzel Washington steps into the equalizing shoes of
'Robert McCall', this time a former
Black Ops agent looking for a quiet life who becomes embroiled in a battle with the
Russian mob when saving a young girl (
Chloe Grace Moretz).
Hoping the nostalgia would draw in audiences and changing the lead actor from white to black for a fresh take didn't work with
NBC's TV remake of Ironside, so let's hope that the reboot formula succeeds on the big screen this time around.
These enigmatic movie billboards were snapped along
Highland Avenue in
Hollywood on August 5, plus high over
Sunset & Vine on August 21, 2014.
If you're a fan of the actor, be sure to check out these other movie billboards featuring
Denzel Washington, like these
Safe House film billboards,
Flight movie billboards and the
2 Guns outdoor ad campaign.

And remember,
'Got a problem? Odds against you? Call The Equalizer'.
UPDATED: Here's another landscape billboard for the movie with this penetrating eyes, spied along
L.A.'s busy
Sunset Strip, along with multiple posters for the reboot spied on the side of the
Whisky A Go-Go club on September 11, 2014.
