And the good news is that unlike other cable channels (cough, AMC) who've been sneakily splitting their final seasons as with Breaking Bad and Mad Men, you'll be able to enjoy this final bloody batch in one go on HBO.
So how will it all end for the fairies, vampires, shapeshifters and werewolves of Bon Temps?
When last we left them, 'Sookie Stackhouse' had shacked up with werewolf 'Alcide', 'Sam Merlotte' was now mayor and a large pack of rabid Hep V vampires were descending on the fictional Southern town. Good times.
Now is that a tear or drop of blood on Sookie's cheek, as we all know the vampires cry blood in True Blood. Will 'Bill' or 'Eric' finally turn her, or is it just symbolic of what's in store for the final episodes.
This super-sized final season billboard was snapped along the Sunset Strip on May 30, whilst the standard landscape billboards were spotted along Beverly Boulevard and Sunset Boulevard on May 28, 2014.
If you're a true fan of the series created by Alan Ball and based on The Southern Vampire Mysteries novels by Charlaine Harris, which changed the face of vampires, and television, when it debuted in September 2008, be sure to check out all these previous season True Blood promo billboards from around the streets of L.A. in years past.
What's been your favourite season promo ad campaign?
In addition you have to agree that True Blood has one of the best opening title sequences in television history, it's both disturbing and compelling at the same time.
One thing is certain, Daily Billboard is sure the show will be 'True to the end' and that True Blood will go out with a bang (or is that a fang?).

UPDATED: Here's another of the striking landscape billboards for the final season snapped along Wilshire Boulevard on June 9, 2014.
