Everyone knows that old adage 'keep it simple stupid', but this creative for ABC's new music talent contest Rising Star certainly embraces the concept wholeheartedly.
And the thing is it works, even though the design is so basic, that vibrant yellow star on the black background helps everything stand out.
Obviously it always helps when you can super-size your outdoor advertising, or help make it more eye-catching with a special extension.
Let's hope the show itself isn't as simplistic or lackluster as the show's logo design, because the concept is coming pretty late to the party when other singing talent shows are already starting to falter and disappear, like American Idol and The X Factor.
The technological twist this time around though is, rather than a panel of judges putting the singers through to the next round it's folks at home voting via an app during a performance that determines whether contestants move forward.
This interactive singing competition still has some famous names attached to it, with classical singer Josh Groban hosting and Kesha, Brad Paisley and Ludacris, the other musical performer experts on hand to dispense their own brand of advice, critiques and encouragement.
This giant-sized series premiere billboard for Rising Star was snapped towering over L.A.'s Sunset Plaza on June 3, whilst the special extension billboards were first spotted along La Brea Avenue on May 28, plus along Sunset Boulevard and Highland Avenue on June 3, 2014.
This time you're the judge with the chance to make the next rising star's dream come true. Raise the wall people.
