The new comedy-drama, Looking, stars out actor Jonathan Groff, Frankie J. Alvarez and Murray Bartlett, as a group of three thirty-something gay friends navigating the trials and triumphs of sex and relationships.
This ad creative with the main cast looking off wistfully in different directions, with Jonathan Groff staring directly at us as if we've caught his eye, is a great way to kick off a series called Looking and these billboards were spied in several locations along L.A.'s Sunset Boulevard on December 23, 2013.
HBO already has Girls to provide a fresh female perspective of young twenty-something life in Brooklyn, NYC, so Looking seems like the perfect addition to the premium cable channel for a more enlightened audience about gay life in San Francisco.

UPDATED: HBO's rookie gay series has gotten some extra support several episodes in with this giant-sized billboard along Sunset Strip in West Hollywood spied on January 31, 2014.
With even more opportunities to see this massive ad, let's hope that more people choose to take a look at this show which not only showcases gay love, intimacy and friendships, but also the beautiful neighbourhoods and hangouts of San Francisco.
