Flowers in the Attic TV movie remake billboards...

Are you ready for another small screen movie remake courtesy of Lifetime?

This time they've assembled the likes of Heather Graham, Ellen Burstyn and Kiernan Shipka to bring V. C. Andrews 1979 best-selling guilty pleasure novel Flowers in the Attic to life, following in the footsteps of the 1987 film of the same name.

The plot revolves around the Dollanganger family in the 50's, when 'Corrine' (Graham) is forced to move her four children into their grandparents wealthy estate after their father dies. In an effort to win back the favour of her father and a place in his will, she conspires with the children's grandmother (Burstyn) to hide them away in a small room in the attic.

Mad Men's Kiernan Shipka stars as one of the older siblings, 'Cathy', in this dark, twisted tale of incest, neglect and abuse.

Apparently Lifetime are already planning to develop the literary sequel, Petals on the Wind, so they're obviously confident about this adaptation.

These Lifetime billboards were snapped along L.A.'s Sunset Plaza on December 30, 2013, plus at the intersection of San Vicente Boulevard and Wilshire Boulevard on January 13, 2014.

Get ready for what's sure to be an utterly nutty experience and remember, don't eat the doughnuts.
