HBO's post-Hurricane Katrina musical drama is getting a shortened season of five episodes to say goodbye to New Orleans and wrap up all the dangling storylines in a little more optimistic finale.
Treme, pronounced 'Truh-May', takes its name from one of the city's oldest neighbourhoods, full of African American music and cultural heritage, and this season follows its diverse community continue to rebuild their lives three years after Katrina.
President Obama is about to be elected and the residents on the streets of battered New Orleans are beginning to feel hope again, some wanting to return to normality, some wanting to be able to turn a profit again, and it's not all easy with corrupt cops and greedy developers making the struggle that much harder.
This giant-sized season four billboard, with its instantly recognisable colourful Mardi Gras beads hanging on a wrought-iron fence, was photographed towering over L.A.'s Sunset Strip on November 30, 2013, whilst the standard landscape version was spotted further east along Sunset Boulevard the same day.
If you're a fan of the show, be sure to also check out these Treme season three billboards.
Now are you ready for one last Mardi Gras?
