This time the action moves from the American Revolution to brutal drama on the high seas in Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag and there be pirates to be killed and treasure to be plundered.
Once again the historical action-adventure game has some eye-catching billboards around L.A., like this special extension billboard in the same location as this year along Sunset Plaza, plus a tall vertical ad creative towering over Sunset & Vine in Hollywood, both spied on October 30, 2013.
Are you ready to captain your own ship, the 'Jackdaw', and lead your crew to fame and fortune by raiding other vessels and discovering sunken treasure? Plus don't forget all those assassination contracts you'll need your stealth and skill for.
If you like these ads for the fourth installment in the gaming franchise, be sure to check out these Assassin's Creed III video game billboards from November 2012.
With the gift-giving season on the horizon the video game ads will no doubt start to come thick and fast now, so be sure to also check out these Batman: Arkham Origins billboards and this giant Call of Duty: Ghosts billboard already lining the skies of L.A. this fall.

UPDATED: Here's some additional photos of the Sunset & Vine ad location, which now shows the ad site flying the Assassin's Creed version of the pirate black flag, which makes for a nice extra touch for this campaign.
This new skull and crossbones addition was spied flying high over Hollywood on November 14, 2013.
