This super-sized wallscape on the side of the Mondrian Hotel along the Sunset Strip in West Hollywood was snapped on August 2, 2013.
The ad creative perfectly embraces the beer brand's philosophy of working hard and taking it easy, pushing the envelope, keeping active and feeling refreshed - living life to the ultra.
Meanwhile another beer billboard featuring more lady surfers is this cool creative for the imported Pilsner-style Mexican beer from Pacifico, which is popular among California surfers and really captures the spirit of the Golden State.
This Cerveza Pacifico Clara beer billboard was spied along Santa Monica Boulevard, on the way to the Pacific Ocean, on August 17, 2013.
From the looks of things, both beer brands are trying to be female friendly and target the athletic surf crowd at the same time. Regardless of their size, which ad do you prefer?
Be sure to check out these other Michelob Ultra billboards from around L.A. too, plus is you're a beer fan, be sure to take a look at these other beer brand ad campaigns.
And please remember to drink responsibly (not underwater on a surfboard for starters).

UPDATED: Here's another two ad creatives for Pacifico Beer spied at California's Venice Beach on September 3, 2013, which clearly target the surfer beer drinking audience.
In addition to the male counterpart to the female surfers billboard ad, this 'Waves. Work. Waves.' wall mural creative with the wetsuits hanging from windows along Venice Beach Boardwalk perfectly captures the spirit of the beer brand.
