Are you eagerly waiting in anticipation for the return of
A&E's hit reality series
Duck Dynasty? Maybe this giant-sized billboard will satisfy your fowl cravings.
With its camouflage family monogram (a tad reminiscent of
Marvel's Daredevil superhero emblem) and tongue-in-cheek
Release The Quackin' tagline (a meme of the infamous
Clash of the Titans 'Release The Kraken' catchphrase), this gigantic billboard is a clever tease for the show about the millionaire family duck call manufacturing business.
One of the big surprises for season four is the addition of the beardless fourth brother,
Alan Robertson, a full-time
Louisiana pastor and the eldest son, who's leaving his pulpit to help the business with public relations and speaking engagements for the rest of the infamous clan.
Apparently the new season of the second most popular show on cable (the first is
The Walking Dead) was delayed due to contract negotiations with the
Robertson family who each wanted over $200,000 per episode (no wonder they own a thriving enterprise, they are obviously canny business folk).
This fun super-sized billboard for the
Duck Dynasty was spied towering over
L.A.'s Sunset Strip on June 29, 2013.
If you're a fan of the show, be sure to check out these previous season
Duck Dynasty billboards and stick around in the months to come, as knowing
A&E they love to tease you and then follow up with more ad creatives nearer the air date for the show.
UPDATED: As predicted here's a different teaser for the fourth season of
Duck Dynasty spotted along
Sunset Boulevard at
Selma Avenue on July 16, 2013.
This standard landscape creative cleverly utilises the
Release the Quackin' slogan against a camouflage background, with a fun feather used as an apostrophe to further tie it into the returning show.
