Let's start this week with a bang. Or is that, bang, bang!
This summer yet another comic book movie adaptation makes its way to the big screen and the 2 Guns in question are Denzel Washington and Mark Wahlberg.
In this action-comedy based on Steven Grant's Boom! Studios graphic novel, Mark Wahlberg reunites with Icelandic director Baltasar Karmákur, who he previously worked with on the movie Contraband from January 2012.In 2 Guns the two Hollywood stars play undercover operatives for competing government bureaus, whose paths cross in the line of duty whilst investigating each other.
Denzel Washington is DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration) agent 'Bobby Trench' and Mark Wahlberg is NCIS (Naval Intelligence) officer 'Michael Stigman', or 'Stig' for short.
In the movie the pair run afoul of the feds and the drug cartels, and after robbing banks holding money they thought belonged to the mob, they have to join forces to discover who set them up.Before the end of the movie expect bullets, and by the looks of it, money, to fly.
This deluge of billboards in various formats were spied around the streets of L.A. from July 8 to July 10, 2013, including a set of super-sized creatives towering over the busy intersection of Highland and Franklin Avenues in Hollywood.

Mark Wahlberg is no stranger to more comedic roles with turns in both Ted and Pain & Gain recently, but frankly it's nice to see Denzel Washington lighten up after serious films like Safe House and Flight.
So make it rain boys, make it rain.
