The first movie in 2006 gave Channing Tatum his first real big break and Revolution sees Kathryn McCormick from the sixth season of So You Think You Can Dance take the spotlight.
She plays the daughter of a wealthy businessman who moves to Miami and falls in love with the leader of a dance crew called the MOB, who as you might guess specialize in cutting-edge flash mobs.
With their neighborhood threatened with development by her father, she must help turn these performance dances into protest mobs.
It all sounds very topical, like the disenfranchised 99% vs the big bad corporations, with dance rather than an occupy protest (and who knew, apparently flash mobs haven't gone out of fashion quite yet).
These three different creatives for Step Up Revolution were snapped around the streets of L.A., along Santa Monica Boulevard, Sunset Boulevard, La Brea Avenue and Vine Street from June 28 to July 2, 2012.
As a special bonus today here's also a giant billboard from two years ago for Step Up 3D, when 3D was still a big thing.
This super-sized billboard for the third movie was snapped along Wilshire Boulevard in Westwood on July 31, 2010.
If you're a fan to the movies, be sure to also check out these original costumes from Step Up 3D on display.

UPDATED: Fans of the dance film franchise will also appreciate this Step Up All In movie billboard (the fifth and final installment), snapped along Santa Monica Boulevard at Robertson Boulevard in July 2014.
