The new creatives seem like a natural evolution of the campaign and they appear much more vibrant and more active, and as a result considerably less static than GNC's previous mono campaign from 2011 which was much more about beautiful models posing.
They've even incorporated some sports stars, including international female soccer player Alex Morgan to add some interest.
The bright new billboards really do live up to the tagline of 'Sports nutrition and wellness to fuel your life'.
The new ads were snapped along Sunset Boulevard, Hollywood Boulevard, Fairfax Avenue and on the side of The Beverly Center along San Vincente Boulevard between April 27 and May 5, 2012.
If you like these, be sure to check out the first wave of 2012 GNC Live Well billboards from around L.A. at the start of the year.

Daily Billboard is sure more new creatives will follow, but wonders where next for this particular campaign. Only time will tell.

UPDATED: Here's another overtly sporty and carefree billboard for GNC Live Well.
This 'Live Charged' cyclist ad was snapped along Ventura Boulevard in Studio City on June 26, 2012.

UPDATED: Daily Billboard was recently in New York City and spied some fantastic sporty billboards for GNC Live Well.
First up is this adrenaline-packed 'Live Fast' hurdler billboard spotted along Manhattan's Varick Street at Charlton Street on August 28, 2012.
Next is this engaging special installation for women's soccer, featuring American Olympic teammates Heather Mitts and Alex Morgan.
This 3D soccer ball installation really catches your eye along 7th Avenue and West 41st Street near Times Square, and it's also a clever way for GNC to associate themselves with the Olympic U.S.A. female soccer team without being an official sponsor.
