If you're a fan of the immersive event that takes place in Griffith Park, be sure to also check out all these L.A. Haunted Hayride billboards from previous years.
Another regular supernatural presence at this time of year has always been Universal Studios Hollywood's Halloween Horror Nights, although this year there seems to have been far fewer billboards filling the skies. Maybe the theme park's frightful festivities have become so popular they don't need to advertise as much.
Halloween Horror Nights billboards from previous years, which have featured ads for iconic horror movies and TV shows like The Walking Dead, Alien vs. Predator, Evil Dead, Silent Hill and more, helping to promote their corresponding themed rides, mazes and attractions at the park.
Carrie movie remake billboards from 2013.
This billboard for the theme park was spotted along La Cienega Boulevard on October 11, 2015.
These 'Cheshire Cat', 'Captain Hook' and 'Cruella de Vil' billboards were spotted around the streets of L.A. from September 17 to October 11, 2015, and if you like these dazzling examples, be sure to compare them to previous Disneyland Halloween outdoor ad campaigns.
And finally, it wouldn't be Halloween without a horror film to provide the scares on the big screen at this time of year.

Wishing you all happy hauntings, terrific terror and fantastic frights this Halloween.
