Yesterday Black Jesus was parodying Michelangelo's infamous 15th century painting, The Last Supper, and today the new season of Nathan For You is drawing its inspiration from a more contemporary source, the season two outdoor ad campaign for The Blacklist.

For the sophomore season of NBC's hit series, James Spader's 'Red Reddington' graced the covers of a whole host of iconic publications, paying homage to everything from Time, CG, Wired, The New Yorker and Rolling Stone magazine to Entertainment Weekly, People, Playboy, US Weekly, Fortune and more besides.

Now comedian Nathan Fielder is channeling 'The Concierge of Crime' cover-for-cover (with a few minor tweaks) for the third season of his Comedy Central show.

This Nathan For You season three billboard was snapped along the Sunset Strip in West Hollywood on October 8, 2015, whilst The Blacklist billboard source inspiration was photographed along Melrose Avenue on August 27, 2014.

If you're a fan of the series, be sure to check out these previous season Nathan For You billboards.

They say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, and this spoof billboard is certainly a fun way to garner attention and no doubt drive social media engagement and publicity for the new season.
