And while the season two billboard isn't as gruesome as the season one billboard for The Strain, it's still a pretty horrific image, true to the vampiric virus nature of the show from Guillermo del Toro and Carlton Cuse.

Last season Corey Stoll's 'Dr. Ephraim Goodweather' (his dodgy hairpiece) and his plucky band of survivors, faced personal tragedy and a wider conspiracy, but ultimately failed to take down 'The Master', the evil architect behind the vampire epidemic.

Now he and Mia Maestro's 'Dr. Nora Martinez' will try to create a biological weapon to obliterate the bloodthirsty creatures, whilst David Bradley's 'Abraham Setrakian' hopes that an ancient text will help defeat their enemy.

These eye-catching season two billboards for The Strain were snapped along the Sunset Strip and Fairfax Avenue on June 18, 2015.

Let's see if these outdoor ads get tongues wagging in the same way the series premiere billboards did.
