Tonight Starz will debut their new eight-part limited series, The Missing (not be be confused with the short-lived ABC series Missing with Ashley Judd).

This haunting new drama, which has already started airing in the U.K. on BBC One, is in the same vein of fellow acclaimed British series Broadchurch (remade as Gracepoint for Fox), which chronicled the hunt for the murderer of a young boy in a seaside town.

The Missing is about a parents worst nightmare, as when holidaying in France, James Nesbitt and Frances O'Connor's 'Tony' and 'Emily Hughes' 5-year-old son 'Oliver' disappears.

The series complex narrative takes place over simultaneous time frames and follows the family's obsessive decade-long search for the missing boy, with the help of an infamous detective, and the effect his disappearance has on their sanity and relationship. Sounds like it will be emotional and gripping viewing, doesn't it.

Daily Billboard thinks the shadow reflected in the puddle of water resembles the Vice season 2 billboard creative, even though the empty boy's shoes are a point of difference and perfectly suits the show's title and premise.

This ad creative also comes directly after the giant Survivor's Remorse series premiere billboard, where shoes were also central to the design and the colour scheme was similar, so Starz should keep an eye on that in the future for maximum stand out for its new shows.
