BEST BILLBOARD INSTALLATION 2011
The BAB Award for billboard that really made Daily Billboard go 'wow' in 2011 was this 3D installation for Universal Studios Hollywood's King Kong attraction.
Not only does the creative have amazing impact with and without the passenger mannequins hanging from the billboard, but it was also replicated in multiple locations around L.A. rather than solely in one high traffic area, sharing the excitement for lots of passersby.
This billboard beat off tough competition including the living billboard installation for Arthur Christmas, The Vampire Diaries season three beating heart billboard and not forgetting the illuminated headlights featured on the billboard for The Green Hornet at the start of 2011.
And there you have it, it's been an exciting year in the cities' skies. What do you think of Daily Billboard's choices this year?
Let's hope 2012 provides as many visual delights.
